Go Holographic!

I’m not going to bore you all again by rambling on and on about how much I love nail varnish… I’m sure most of you are pretty well aware of that fact by now. As a brand, Colour Club were never one I’d heard of until I saw my friend Levinia wearing some of the most beautiful shades by them.

Now I’m not always a fan of glittery nail varnish, mainly because of how much of a pain it is to get off, but what I love about these particular colour club shades is their holographic look that almost appears to glitter in the light… but without actually being a chunky glittery formula. They paint on to the nails just like any other nail polish, but leave some of the most amazing colour results I’ve seen from nail polishes.. and they last really well too (even better)!

Exhibit A is their colour in halo-graphic… I mean, just look how amazing it is?

Just Add Coconut

When I first saw the Barry M Coconut Infusion nail polishes hit the shelves a few months back it's safe to say I was intrigued. It's a completely new form of nail polish created with a blend of coconut water and oil which work together to hydrate and nourish the nails.

Now my nails are normally in a pretty bad state, mainly because I always tend to pick off my nail polish once it chips (yes, I know it's terrible). Due to this, I'm always on the look out for products that will care for my nails/cuticles while still leaving them looking fabulous.

Frozen Berries!

Last Tuesday I spent the evening painting my nails a beautiful mauve colour by the brand Mavala, which I must say, I absolutely loved. However, on my birthday (Friday 16th) my super wonderful friend Levinia bought me a set of three polishes (again by Mavala), all of which were the most gorgeous colours.

Me being me, I couldn't resist giving one of them a try, and so I spent the evening repainting my nails in this most lovely purple shade called Frozen Berries. I hadn't even heard of Mavala until a couple of weeks ago.... and now I'm hooked!

The Best Nail Varnish Formulas!

Another posts about nail varnish? Really Tanith? errmmmm yes, I have no shame.

Since my blog began last September, I have written one hell of a lot nail varnish posts, because I just can't get enough! As much as I love all different brands of nail polish and the colours/formulas they create, I have recently decided on, what I think are the best nail polish formulas I've tried.

The Perfect Pair!

As I said in Wednesday's post, I love autumn (as sad as I am to say goodbye to summer), and there have been a couple of items I've picked up recently which are literally perfect for this time of year.

I mean, who doesn't love autumnal colours and warm scarves?!

A Perfectly Pretty Pink!

I'm not normally a pink person. Pink is, generally, is not a colour I gravitate towards; but for some reason just lately, I've been drawn to simple pale pink colours, specifically in the form of nail varnishes.

I adore the way they look so chic and delicate on the nails, and can leave you feeling pretty and girly (even if the rest of you doesn't exactly look like that)! Now this particular pink polish is Etheral (210) by Rimmel London, and is a part of their 60 seconds seconds super shine range..... and I just love it!
