Clean Hands!

Never has anyone ever been so excited about hand sanitizers as I was when my sister handed me a Bath and Body Works paper bag. Let’s set the scene shall we? It’s a Sunday evening and myself/my family and my sisters’ in-laws are all round at my sister and her husband’s house after their return from a two week honeymoon in the states. As they’re telling us all about their exciting adventures and the things they saw, they hand out some lovely gifts to us all (totally generous!).

For me, this included a pretty big box of Milk Duds (which were pretty much devoured that evening), a beauty product I’ll be discussing later this week ;) and….. some Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers! Ok, so that was all a very anticlimactic story since I already mentioned what the post is about within the first sentence…. But let’s just go with it.

Just Add Coconut

When I first saw the Barry M Coconut Infusion nail polishes hit the shelves a few months back it's safe to say I was intrigued. It's a completely new form of nail polish created with a blend of coconut water and oil which work together to hydrate and nourish the nails.

Now my nails are normally in a pretty bad state, mainly because I always tend to pick off my nail polish once it chips (yes, I know it's terrible). Due to this, I'm always on the look out for products that will care for my nails/cuticles while still leaving them looking fabulous.

Speedy Blush!

I’ve never really used cream based production when applying my makeup… and to be honest, I don’t really know why. For someone who doesn’t particularly wear much foundation, and when I do, it’s generally a liquid based formula, it seems strange that I’ve only reached for powder products for all these years. Whilst they do look nice, I find sometimes they don’t sit too well on the skin and they can often look quite powdery when applied (although I still love the ones I have in my collection).

Recently, I’ve been seeing more and more cream based products hitting the stores; be it bronzers, contour shades, blushers or highlighters. With it being summer and the weather being warmer, I generally go for a lighter base anyway as I like having a dewy and fresh complexion. Having freckles means they become even more prominent once the sun comes out and I like to embrace them as opposed to hiding them under layers of foundation. I just find when it’s hot, a nice dewy fresh faced look is so pretty, and also, using less products means your skin gets to breathe!

Mac Lipstick Favourites!

Who doesn't love a Mac lipstick? Their formulas are amazing no matter which finish you go for, and as for the colour selection they have to offer... well, wow! To be honest, I have never owned many Mac lipsticks myself (although I have tried a lot), however, it is safe to say that I've 100% adored each one I've had.

So, I thought I'd share with you my favourite nude & bold Mac lipsticks, because they are incredible (as well as smelling delicious)!
