Just Add Bubbles!

Well, bath season is well and truly upon us. Of course, I'm not saying that you can't possibly have a bath at any other time of the year, because hell, I do! However, the colder weather has suddenly arrived here in the UK, and when its chilly and dark outside, then what is better then soaking in a wonderfully warm bath?!

I find that when I feel cold or under the weather (as I have been at the moment), relaxing in a hot bath filled with amazing scents just helps to warm you up, soothe any aches/pains and just generally make you feel soooo much better (and relaxed... of course)!

As much as I love LUSH and the amazing bath products they create, I can't afford to be purchasing bath bombs left, right and center - as much as I'd love to - as my bank balance wouldn't be too pleased with me. So instead, I turn to alternative products that are just as wonderful, but a fraction of the price especially in relation to how many uses you get out of them.

A Little LUSH Goodness!

Yesterday Me and Dan popped into Birmingham for a little look around. Well, it was mostly so we could go to the Handmade Burger Kitchen for lunch.... but since we'd driven all the way over there, it was only fair that we had a little wander round a few shops whilst we were in town. Of course for me, LUSH was on the agenda, and from the second I walked in I became super excited about all the new products that were available (sad I know)! 

I got chatting to one of the lovely girls who worked there - I mean, how nice are the people who work in LUSH?! - and she showed me so many products and by the end, I really could have just purchased the whole shop.. but I didn't!

I limited myself to only picking up two new things, but don't you worry LUSH, in the words of the Terminator, 'I'll be back'!

Treat Yourself!

It's always nice to have a little 'me time'. Time when you just switch off the world (and your iPhone) and just relax. I feel that learning to enjoy your own company is one of lifes biggest 'musts', and is something that everyone should revel in the experience of. 

As for me, I'm a home bird; someone who enjoys time spent relaxing, be it on my own or with family/friends. I'd pick sitting on the sofa watching TV in my pyjamas over a loud sweaty club any day; but at the age of 21, many people seem to find that weird. Why can't I enjoy spending time alone, or having a quiet night in with the people I love? Is it so wrong to want to save my money for more important adventures, as opposed to drinking it away and spending the next day feeling horrendous? I don't see this as an issue at all, but society seems to pigeonhole us young folk into the category of: binge drinking, drug taking, party animals.... and thats where I draw the line.

So, we've established my love for 'me time' and relaxing, but what I really love is a good old pamper session.
