Soak Your Troubles Away

Until recently I hadn't made a trip to Lush for months (criminal I know)! When the warmer months arrive having a long soak in the bath just doesn't seem appealing.... but since the colder weather and darker nights are beginning to make an appearance here in the UK, a lovely bath post seemed highly appropriate.

Sometimes we are lucky enough to still be greeted by the summer weather in September, but sadly this year autumn seems to have arrived early. I'm all for cosy jumpers, chunky scarves and woolly hats (mainly because I don't have to do anything with my hair), but I'm not a massive fan of the dark evenings and  that constant chilly feeling.

So, the baths are back and you'll no doubt find me soaking all my troubles away at least once a week (although let's face it, it will probably be more times than that).

Cheer Up Buttercup

Alongside the bright colour and cute name, this is a really lovely bath bomb that has a scent to uplift your spirits. With fragrant lemon myrtle, refreshing lime and beautiful neroli, you won't be able to leave the bath without a smile on your face.

Unfortunately, sometimes I find that the yellow coloured bath bombs leave your tub stained...which often makes them more trouble then they're worth. Luckily, with 'cheer up buttercup' I found this wasn't the case (high fives all round)!

I really loved this product, and as the name suggests this little treat will leave you feeling 100% cheery.

Rocket Science

To be honest, I didn't even smell this bath bomb before putting it in my basket. I mean, it's a bath bomb, it's blue (my favourite colour) and it's in the shape of a rocket... whats not to love?!

That being said, I really did enjoy this product. It had the right balance of relaxing and bright scents utilising Sicilian lemon oil and bergamot oil..... not to mention it leaves your bath water the most beautiful colour.

Butter Ball

Butter ball will forever be my favourite Lush product. I must have talked about it on my blog at least a million times (no exaggeration....honest), so I'm not going to spend time boring you with a review. All you need to know is that I LOVE IT! Whenever I have a bath using this product I sleep like a baby afterwards. With cocoa butter and cocoa powder it has the most divine scent and leaves your skin feeling luxuriously silky and smooth.

As much as I love the 'fun' and colourful Lush bath bombs, I would be perfectly happy to only ever use the butter ball... and that is what I call commitment.

What's your favourite Lush product?
