The Pamper Evening

I love a good pamper. There's something so lovely about treating yourself and taking care of your body (and mind). If you can have a pamper on the weekend, then when can you have one?

My pamper evening's have suddenly become far more exciting now that I have a newly refurbished bathroom and I love take a long soak in the bath. One of my favourite things to do is fill up the tub with tons of beautifully scented bubbles and forget any worries from the previous week. At the moment (and as always) I'm loving the Radox Muscle Soak bubble bath as it has such a deep and relaxing scent that really helps you to unwind, soothing both your mind and your muscles.

Of course, candles have to be lit to aid the relaxing ambience! I try to avoid highly scented candles for alongside a bath however, as otherwise they fight with the scent of the bubble bath!

So, with candles glowing and bubbles flowing, I relax.

After drying off it's time to care of my skin. On my face I use the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + as a first step. This product has literally saved my skin, and despite it being slightly more pricey I just know I can rely on it to keep everything balanced. Next I reach for the Lacura night cream which is gorgeously nourishing (and only a few pound from Aldi), leaving my skin hydrated and ready for the next day. To care for the delicate skin around my eyes I'm using Nivea Q10 Plus Eye Cream which I pat in gently with my ring and middle fingers.

For my body, of course I reach for my trusty Soap and Glory Righteous Butter. I love this stuff, as not only does it smell divine, really making you feel as though you're treating yourself, but it also leaves the skin feeling well and truly pampered.

All that's left to do is pop on some cosy pyjamas and enjoy the evening.
