So last week I was a very lucky girl. After a wonderful 23rd Birthday weekend celebrated with my family, myself and Dan went down to the beautiful Cornwall on October 17th for five days of relaxation. It was his wonderful present to me and we had the best week.
He booked for us to stay in a lovely little one bedroom lodge (with a damn good hot-tub may I add) on Mawgan Porth's The Park holiday site. We've been going down to Mawgan Porth for about eleven years now, and it's literally one of my favourite places in the world. It's so calm with beautiful scenery and an even more beautiful beach.
Since we've been to Cornwall so many times, there wasn't anything we really wanted to do/see... which I was totally OK with. It was nice to have a few days of just chilling out. We spent our days popping to the beach, playing crazy golf, visiting local towns and eating.... eating A LOT! What I loved about the lodge was the cute little hot-tub which we took full advantage of, relaxing in the warmth everyday.
It was the perfect week and I'm so grateful to Dan for arranging it. What made it even better was the weather! We were so very lucky and everyday the sun shone down on us and for a minute, I forgot it was autumn.
