I love tea. I love cakes/biscuits of all variety. So put them together and you pretty much have my ideal afternoon treat. Afternoon Teas are literally my idea of heaven, and I just think there is something so wonderful about an afternoon of relaxing every now and again.
As part of my birthday present, my sister and her fiancé got me this gorgeous afternoon tea set from a brand called Katie-Alice, which I am well and truly in love with (and after browsing their website, I want virtually everything they sell)!
The beautiful Bird Song afternoon tea collection comes with a side plate, adorable cup and a saucer, which all make the most perfect looking china set! It has a vintage style bird design - featured on both the cup and side plate - all tied in with a lovely pastel blue and white polka dot theme, creating a bright yet elegant design.
My favourite part of the design however, is the writing placed around the inside rim of the cup. It reads 'little bird sing me a song, just a little note to make this day not quite so long' which I absolutely love!
For me, tea definitely helps to make a day not so long!
