Skin Care: The Review!

About a month ago my skin was horrendous! I had a massive breakout that just seemed to get worse and worse! For someone who has never suffered with too many problems with my skin, this made me feel pretty self conscious and I just wanted my skin to clear up as soon as possible!

As mentioned in my post linked here, I have never really had a proper skin care routine, and so my skin having this mad breakout made me decide I needed one, and I needed to stick to it. I went out and purchased the Garnier Micellar Water after hearing so many great things about it, and also the Boots tea tree and witch hazel gel, and after a month of using them religiously, I though I'd post a bit of a review so you can see my thoughts on the products.

(Please note, that I have also been eating a lot healthier then I was over the past month, so some of my current skin benefits may also have been helped by that and not just purely these products.)

Garnier Micellar Water:

Ok, so I think this product is great! It's easy to use and does exactly what it says on the tin! It removes makeup perfectly and leaves your skin feeling nice and clean. What I particularly like about this micellar water is the fact that it is fragrance free, as I feel that having things that are too strongly scented on your face, can be a bit overwhelming and can also prevent your skin from feeling as fresh and clean. Another thing is that it isn't harsh on my skin at all. When using it, it doesn't sting or irritate the skin in the slightest, it just leaves it feeling clean and refreshed.

I would definitely recommend purchasing this product if you are looking for a new cleaner, but want something that is great for sensitive skin and still does exactly what it is meant to!

Boots tea tree and witch hazel gel:

It's hard to comment on the benefits of this product, as it's hard to judge whether it specifically helped in clearing up my skin. That being said however, it is a really good product which leaves your skin feeling hydrated and freshly scented - without being too strong. You only need to use a tiny amount of the product as it is quite a liquid consistency and so spreads easily onto your face, which means no splashing out to buy more every few days!

What other skincare products do you all recommend?
