A Girl in Jeans!

This post may seem somewhat strange for most of you out there.... but for me, it is a problem I've been having for far too many years! I used to do ballet when I was younger, so since then my legs have always been quite big as I built up a lot of muscle whilst doing it. That combined with being 5ft 10in and size 12, has constantly resulted in changing room battles trying to find a pair of jeans that fit! They're always either so tight on my legs that I can't even get them up... or fine on my legs but then huge on my waist, meaning they go bunched up and horrible!

It sounds ridiculous, but for the past 3-4 years, I've pretty much lived in leggings and dresses purely to avoid having to wear my unflattering jeans, or brave the shops to find new ones. I have so many pretty tops that I haven't worn in forever, and they've just been hanging forgotten in the back of my wardrobe!

On Wednesday, me and my mom went shopping to Manchester, and after getting thoroughly annoyed (and hot) in Dorothy Perkins' changing rooms, I decided to just do what I should've done a long time ago.... take a trip to Levi's!

Best thing I've ever done! I walked in to a wall of jeans... and after being a bit overwhelmed about where to start, the most wonderful sales assistant came to help (I wish I could thank her again)! I explained the problems I always have, and she talked me through their styles before measuring my hips and waist to see which would best suit me. It came up with their Demi Curve range, which is for women with hourglass figures, or with a very similar hip to waist ratio.

I tried on far too many styles.... turns out that I still couldn't get skinny over my legs, but in the end I found these beautiful slim fit ones in the perfect colour!

Of course, as we all know, Levi jeans come at a price... but after finding my perfect (no exaggeration) pair, I just couldn't leave them behind!
