The British Tag!

Unfortunately, university has taken over once again and I've been bombarded with assignments, many of which are due in the next week or so! With no time to plan posts or take/edit photographs in the daylight (damn the clocks going back and making it so dark so early), I've decided to do a simple "tag" post, and this one is.......

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?
Ok, lets just get one thing straight.... sugar in tea is vile! It totally ruins it! So with that remark, I think it's pretty obvious that I have zero sugars in my tea. Now, how many cups a day?! I LOVE tea, but how much I drink always varies from day to day. I'd say on average, it's about four!

2. Favourite part of a Sunday roast?
The Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes hands down! I always get given an extra Yorkshire pudding when my mom makes a dinner because I just cannot resist them!

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
Brilliant question! A cup of tea just isn't the same without at least one biscuit! My favourite biscuit to dunk has got to be a dark chocolate digestive.... I'm very specific about the "dark chocolate" bit though!

4. Favourite quintessential British past-time?
I don't really know if it's a specifically British past-time... but I adore going for picnics in the summer! It's so cute to get some delicious food, a picnic blanket, frisbee and whatever else you fancy, and just go and enjoy it somewhere beautiful! And because we don't get that much sun in England, it's best to get outside at any opportunity!

5. Favourite British Word?
I literally cannot think of any super British words that you would stereotypically place with someone from our country! Yes, many places speak English.... but there's always got to be certain words that you hear , and instantly associate with a particular country (e.g. sidewalk and sneakers = American). Ermmm (lots of hard thinking taking place here), so I love the word "gambol"... although it's not even a word that most British people have heard of, as it is from the West Midlands area and it is the word we use for a forward roll!

6. Cockney rhyming slang?
Well, seeing as I don't live in or near London, I don't use cockney rhyming slang (much). I do love the phrase "up the apples and pears" (stairs for those of you who don't know) though!

7. Favourite Sweet?
RHUBARB AND CUSTARDS!...... or rosy apples! mmmmmmmmm amazing! I want sweets now!

8. What would your pub be called?
I literally have no idea! My boyfriend has always said he would call his "The Bat Cave" though! Random!

12. No. 1 British Person?
I love Bill Bailey! His hilarious, amazing at anything musical and super intelligent!

10. Favourite shop/restaurant?
There are so many shops I love! Waterstones is amazing, I could spend forever in there (especially the super cool huge stores), also Boots because I have a slight addiction to nail varnish...... (maybe a tad more then "slight"). Oh and Selfridges is epic even though I never buy anything! Ok, sorry for that response! Now you can all see exactly how my mind works... I write exactly how I think!

11. What British song pops into your head?
And after alllllllll. You're my wonder wall...... I don't even like Oasis.

12. Marmite?
Ew. No way.
