Today I thought I'd share with you my two favourite skin care products. My day and night moisturisers. I would say that I have combination skin the majority of the time as it can have both oily and dry areas which seem to fluctuate with the weather. Because my skin can feel rather dry and tight, it is key for me to use moisturisers religiously both in the morning and evening... and I think I have finally found my perfect combination!
In the morning, I reach for my Body Shop vitamin C glow boosting moisturiser (£16 - 50ml) which I am completely in love with! Its more of a gel consistency as opposed to a cream, however it sinks in wonderfully to the skin and gives it an amazing healthy glow while deeply moisturising it at the same time. As well as this, it has a heavenly fresh orange/citrusy scent which definitely helps to wake you up first thing in the morning.
In the evening I use something completely different, yet still as incredible. It is the Lacura renew night cream. Believe it or not, this is actually from Aldi and my goodness, it is amazing. I've been using the face creams from Aldi for many years now and I just won't stray away from them. Not only is this night cream super thick and hydrating on the skin (with a very subtle scent), it also sinks in really quickly and leaves your skin feeling hydrated for a long time! Oh.. and did I mention it only costs around £2?! If that doesn't sell it to you then I don't know what will!
