As I got a super cute (I mean, super super cute!) make up bag for Christmas, I thought it would be a fab idea to do a 'what's in my makeup bag' type post! For me, I have bits of makeup here and there around my room; however, those products stored with care and love in my makeup bag, are those I adore most of all and use most often!
First of all.... brushes!
Until recently I never had any 'nice' brushes, just cheap ones I purchased as and when I needed them. I didn't really understand the difference a good brush could make to the application of your makeup.... but now that little switch has clicked in my mind, and there is no way I'm going back!
The four key brushes (I need to invest in eye brushes... like asap) I use when applying my make up are:
Bare minerals: Full flawless face, flawless face and concealer brushes.
Superdrug's own: Blusher brush
All four of these applicators are beautifully soft and help in giving an easy and flawless application of my makeup.
Seconly.... The Base!
How important is a good base?! Extremely important is my answer to that! My favourite 3 products to achieve that (almost) flawless look are:
Bourjois: Happy Light luminous serum primer and healthy mix foundation
Maybelline: Instant anti age eye eraser.
Finally.... Blusher, Eyes and Lips!
I always go for a more natural makeup look on a daily basis, unless I'm doing any particularly special; so these are the selection of products I reach for most often when getting ready!
Benefit: World famous neutrals eyeshadow
Seventeen: Doll'd up mascara
Mac Cremsheen Lipstick: Modesty (shade)
Maybelline Colour Tattoo eyeshadow in pink/gold

Rimmel brow pencil
Eyeko: Skinny liquid eyeliner in black
All of these products are those I tend to lean towards on most day..... except when I'm too lazy to do my makeup!
