Blogging is Hard

Oh's been a while.

I'm not really sure where 2017 has gone. I mean, it's June already yet it only seems two minutes ago that I popped up my last posts about Christmas and New Year. Right now, that famous Ferris Bueller quote seems pretty damn apt.

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you might miss it."

Blogging is hard.

I love writing, it's one of my favourite things to do; however when your job involves a hell of a lot of writing already, it's difficult to come home and feel inspired to write even more. So I kind of dropped off the blogosphere. Fell out of love with Things Tanith Did and the social media platforms that once made up a huge part of my life.

But I want to come back. I get home from work some nights, settle down with a cup of tea and flick through some of my favourite blogs and think YES. This is what I want to do. I want to write and create content to be proud of. Capture beautiful moments, pretty photographs and rekindle that love for creativity I once had.

I think after three intense years at university (studying Media and Communications if you didn't already know) followed by a full time job that takes up a lot of my creative thought, the inspiration I once had gradually dwindled away.

But I want to get it back! I think to do that I just need to strike when the inspiration comes, not force something that isn't there. I'm not committing to a 'schedule'. I'm not committing to a 'theme'. I'm not committing to specific content. I'm committing to creativity and to respark that passion I once had.

So, hopefully this isn't goodbye for too long. It's the start of something new.
